This is basically a love letter to the new Lunar Pant from Maaike so if you're into gals professing their love for their new pants then hello you have come to the right place.
Thursday night after work I met up with Mitchell and we checked out Maaike's Summer 16/17 collection "Luna" launch at Harper Inc (aka my new favourite store. As in fave enough to come back and get a coat the next morning lol). Now, I love in-store launches because you get to shop while having a glass of bubbly, eat cake, try things on, catch-up with people, and check out new stock, but this one was even more special because Maaike designers Abby and Emilie were in attendance.
Now let's talk about the pants because I am so in love with them I want to shout it from the rooftop. In fact, I probably will.
From the moment I laid my eyes on you I knew you were going to be mine. It was one of those love at first sight situations where I saw you hiding in the new arrivals rack and just knew, you know? That you were the pants I've been searching for in a long time. Comfortable, baggy, drapey, still dressy enough for work. I'm not even going to mention the fact that I only ever wear one colour. So there you were, hanging in that rack, looking at me like you knew exactly that I was going to take you home there and then! And it's been happily ever after since. I've had strangers ask me where I got you from, compliments from kind people as I wore you out on Saturday.
I have a feeling ours is a love story that's only just beginning....
