Last week I realised it's been months since I've purchased a lipstick. Or make-up, for that matter. I had just come back from fashion week, and while the goodie bags had some cool swag in them, there was nothing that could fill the lipstick shaped hole in my heart. So I lasted almost two weeks before I gave in and visited my local beauty counter for a cheeky treat.
I've got quite an ample lipstick collection and once I find a brand I like (remember that time I impulsively got all those Dior lipsticks because I have no self control?) I tend to follow it like a cult. So this time around I wanted to branch out and try something new. Thank goodness I did! This is my first Estee Lauder lipstick and I thought it it was anything like their double wear range, I'd be a very happy camper. I browsed for what seemed like ages and I'd forgotten how fun it was to just browse, look around, and try different shades on. I've never really had the time to browse around shops, and when I do buy lipstick I usually have a shade in mind already. Boy, am I glad I didn't have anything in particular in mind this time around!
Lipsticks are my kryptonite. I think it's partly due to the fact that I'm
I tested this shade in the weekend and again on Monday to see how it would wear during a normal day for me and I'm delighted to report back that the lipstick survived. It really is the perfect shade if you want something neutral during the day than can easily transition to something more fun for the evening. I'm a corporate gal moonlighting as a blogger and actor at night (or vice versa?) and this shade is appropriate for both work and events. I also love that while it's not metallic, it's doesn't come out glittery at all. Sophisticated version of glitter lips that I can wear to work? Groundbreaking.
Brushed Bronze reminds me of a 90s brown nude lipstick with a #millenial twist of metallics. Consider me hooked. I even did a 'food test' and ate 2 oily meals while wearing this lipstick. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen on my stories that at 10 pm, the lipstick was still there even though I've eaten 2 oily meals (and fish, nonetheless) and haven't reapplied since 4 pm. I'm already eyeing up my next Estee Lauder lipstick. In fact, I hear there's 5 more metallic matte shades and I can hear them calling my name. I'm already eyeing them up. Yes, all of them.

This metalic matte lipstick is really awesome. Thanks to share this beautiful metalic matte lipstick. I believe makeup is an important part of women's life and a perfect lipstick gives a great look of hole makeup. I can't imagine a single day without my makeups. I love to use my favorite Liquid Matte Lipstick for my lip.
